Scuba.com Underwater Photo Contest Needs Entries and Judges

Share and vote for the best underwater photos

Scuba.com’s photo contests offer a platform for underwater photographers, a rating system for amateur judges, and an option to turn any winning photo into a ready-made post card.

Thousands of scuba divers searching out scuba gear, underwater cameras, and other aquatic accessories have viewed the photo contest, creating an instant spotlight for any underwater photographer’s work.  The theme of the submitted photos just has to be something scuba diving or ocean related. Images of wildlife like whales, turtles, and sharks can be seen on the contest homepage, alongside coral reefs, underwater seascapes, and even sun-soaked images of tropical beaches.

There is no panel of judges – in fact, every photographer and visitor to the site can vote on any image.  Any underwater photographer or scuba enthusiast can browse the gallery and not only see a wide variety of images, but decide for themselves which photos deserve the highest accolades.

Any and all of the images submitted to the photo contest gallery can be turned into an e-postcard with the click of a button. From there, simply enter the email address of the recipient, your name and any message you wish to send, and then click “Create Postcard.” Not only are visitors helping to spread the work of talented photographers, but they can know their own work has a chance of finding a new audience.
