Carithers Flowers Reminds Shoppers to Support Local Businesses on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday

ATLANTA, GEORGIA. (November 24, 2014). Carithers Flowers, the second generation, family-owned Atlanta florist, announced that it is preparing its new holiday collection of flowers, holiday plants, and gifts for the upcoming holiday season, which kicks off on Black Friday, which falls on November 28^th this year. Other special holiday shopping days that are designed to support local businesses include Small Business Saturday on November 29^th and Cyber Monday on December 1^st.

In commenting on these holiday shopping days, Carithers Flowers Founder Charles Carithers said, “While we know that holiday shoppers have a choice among many chain retailers to do their holiday shopping, we want to encourage them to shop with small local businesses like ourselves that offer unique luxury products, great selections, and personalized service in a warm, inviting environment.”

Carithers added, “These special holiday shopping days provide us with a way to spend more time with our customers, getting to know them and sharing stories about the holidays. We also use these days as an opportunity to better understand what our customers want in terms of holiday décor and gifts. This year, we have added to our holiday collection based on these requests.”

The holiday shopping events will be held at each of the Atlanta florist’s locations and include special décor, treats, and activities for customers of all ages. It is also an opportunity to take advantage of special pricing and promotions as well as on-site consultations with the floral design teams in each store that can provide recommendations for custom flower arrangement designs for centerpieces, holiday décor, and event flowers for holiday parties, weddings, and other special occasions during the winter season.
