Mary Morrissey has spent the last 40+ years spreading her message of living the life you would love. She is the author of 3 books one of which was made into a PBS Movie. She has spoke at the United Nations 3 times and facilitated week long meetings with His Holiness, The Dahli Lama. She met Nelson Mandela in Cape Town, South Africa to address the most significant issues the world faced at the time. Mary has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and an honorary doctorate in Humane Letters.
Her story in this book is about the crystalline moment she had that changed the direction of her life. How she went from the minister traveling around the country speaking in other churches to starting a church of her own in Portland, OR. Because of her teachings the church grew from around a dozen people in her home to a church that occupied a 95,000 square foot building.
Her story shows that no one is immune to crystalline moments that change the trajectory of people’s lives. She tells the story about how her church fell apart and how her crystalline moment created the opportunity for her to do what she was really put on this earth to do. In her words, “This looks very scary to me. What’s going to happen here? That’s the perfect moment for deepening and expansion of you. That is a Crystalline Moment!”
Mary’s story will show how when you are the trained observer of your own life you can master noticing of what you are noticing when you have certain thoughts. It talks about how to train yourself to make adjustments in your thoughts so you can move into alignment with why you were put on this earth. You will be able to see the opportunities that present themselves as each crystalline moment happens. In her story we find several lessons that can bring us to the life of our dreams.
We all want to have the perfect life but first we must know what that is. With Mary’s story and the others in this book the prescription for how to do that is laid out.
