Study Aboard In Egypt This Fall With The St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School When You Sign Up For COP 3017 An Introduction to Early Egyptian Monasticism

At the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School we aspire to be the premier center of Orthodox Christian scholarship, pastoral education, Orthodox ministry and mission throughout the world. If you are seeking to expand your knowledge of religious and theological studies then do so by applying to the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School and registering for classes this Fall.

In this coming semester we will be offering an exciting opportunity to study aboard. Our COP 3017 “An Introduction to Early Egyptian Monasticism” will travel throughout Egypt, visiting monasteries that offer an in-depth, historical and archeological study of the monastic life in Egypt. Places will include Wadi El Natroun, Red Sea, Souhag, Luxor and Aswan.

This two-week intensive course will take place from December 11th through the 23rd.  The class will be limited to 20 students, and will require special permission to enroll due to the limited availability. Priority will be given to those who have registered as full time students.

Not including airfare, the trip will cost approximately $1500.00 USD.

At the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School we invite all to partake in the fullness of faith. Our mission is to provide our students with a sound Orthodox Education so that they can become Christian Leaders in their communities.
