When you’re looking to earn your Masters of Divinity this spring semester, Deacon Severus Mikhail will be leading COP 5016 Coptic Church History II, available Thursdays from 6:00-9:00PM. Available both live and through online courses, this course will survey the Coptic Orthodox Church and the changes to the community from the seventh century, to the twentieth century.

With a focus on Christian-Muslim interactions, shifting communal identities, liturgical developments and the importance of Coptic-Arabic literature, this course is especially potent in this day and age, and will help our young scholars to shape the future.
