Diskeeper Corporation’s Diskeeper 2011 features four different
technologies that help improve user experience, and system performance, thereby
also extending hardware life. These four
technologies include I-FAAST technology, InvisiTasking, ItelliWrite, and
InstantDefrag.
I-FAAST optimizes file organization through the placement of frequently
used files. InvisiTasking enables
efficient and effective defragmentation as a background process allowing it to
run virtually invisible while the user works.
InstantDefrag uses data form INtelliWrite to defrag files as they become
fragmented preventing it from noticeable slowing down performance. Most importantly, the IntelliWrite technology
aids in the prevention of fragmentation before it has a chance to begin.
Many businesses are relying on third party defragmentation tools because the Windows
7 defragmentation utility just doesn’t do enough. In several tests comparing Diskeeper 2011 and Windows 7
defragmentation, results have shown Diskeeper 2011 to be far superior in both
performance and benefits. Benefits
include faster, more efficient system performance and productivity, prolonged
equipment life, efficient use of the computer’s hardware, and the prevention of
fragmentation in most cases. In addition to better system performance
Diskeeper 2011 also proves itself to be far more beneficial in the way that it
can continue to perform its duties without effecting foreground tasks, allowing
users to continue working while defragmentation and prevention is in process. The Windows 7 utility, however, requires user
initiation, and must be scheduled to perform once a week while not other tasks
are running.
