If cost wasn’t an issue more adults would have cosmetic surgery

Cosmetic surgery is growing in popularity. Over the past few decades the industry has grown significantly and has become more socially acceptable. More and more men and women would have plastic surgery if cost wasn’t an issue.

A recent survey from CouponCabin.com, conducted by Harris Interactive, revealed that one in four adults would have cosmetic surgeries like liposuction, breast augmentations and tummy tucks. Women were more likely to want cosmetic procedures than men. Over 28 percent of the women surveyed said that they wanted plastic surgery as opposed to 18 percent of men. Of those surveyed 15 percent said they would have cosmetic surgery regardless of price.

Cosmetic surgeries including the most common surgeries such as nose jobs and liposuction can cost thousands of dollars, but cosmetic fillers and chemical peels are a little less costly. The individuals surveyed said they would use a coupon to have Botox or chemical peels.

Daily deal sites like CouponCabin and Groupon often offer deals on a range of plastic surgery procedures.

Cosmetic surgery can be expensive but many people find a way to pay for a procedure.  Liposuction is less costly than other procedures and is one of the top ten procedures that people get. For numerous individuals cosmetic surgery is an investment in their future and they have these surgeries to help them in their careers. Looking better can give a person’s self-esteem a much needed boost.
