Emily Maynard is reportedly set to look for love on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. Maynard, who accepted Brad Womack’s proposal on season 15 of The Bachelor, is said to have agreed to become the new Bachelorette because ABC is willing to tape the show in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina so she can be with her 5-year-old daughter Ricki.
"She's looking for a man -- not a little boy,” an insider tells Us Weekly magazine.
Maynard called off her engagement from Womack last summer over his apparent commitment issues. "I wanted to be married and have more children, but I doubted he was going to still want to be with me. As a single mom, I don't have the luxury of saying "we'll figure it out when we get there." I need that reassurance that he'd want to be with me six weeks down the road much less six years,” the 25-year-old told Bachelor host Chris Harrison.
Neither Maynard nor ABC has commented on the latest Bachelorette casting rumors.
