Chris Hemsworth is going to become a dad this year! The Thor star has confirmed wife Elsa Pataky is pregnant with their first child together. The baby is due in the spring.
“Chris and I are ecstatic, very happy and excited,” Pataky, who most recently starred opposite Vin Diesel in Fast Five, tells Hola! Magazine.
The Spanish actress says they have decided to wait until delivery to find out the gender of their child. “Since it’s our first child we don’t care if it’s a boy or girl, our only wish is that it’s healthy,” she says.
Hemsworth, 28, and Pataky, 35, tied the knot in December 2010. Hemsworth’s upcoming films include The Cabin in the Woods, The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman.
