Red Tails, starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrance Howard, Bryan Cranston, Daniela Ruah and Michael B. Jordan, opens in theaters Friday, January 20. The drama, set during World War II, is inspired by the true story of the Tuskegee Airman – America’s first aerial combat unit comprised of all African Americans. Racial prejudice kept the crew on the ground for most of the war, but the men are eventually given a chance to prove their worth when they are called to combat.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours 5 minutes and is rated PG 13 for sequences of war violence.
