What She's Looking For During the First 10 Seconds

As previously stated in our article “Why You Should Have Sex Before Getting To Know Her“, women can usually discern whether they’re sexually interested in a man within about 10 seconds of meeting him. The old adage “first impressions are everything” still holds true to this day.

Now, this is very tricky, because obviously women have widely varying opinions. So, I interviewed a group of women and also added my personal experience to help you men (and women) out. Read carefully as I offer a limited view into a woman’s desires and what she’s likely to be looking for in a man from the first second she meets him.

The way a man carries himself is the first thing women notice. Posture is vital, along with confidence, so show that you are secure in yourself without the need to act pompous and arrogant. Women love a confident man just as men love a confident woman. Do you really think she wants to have sex with a man with low self-esteem?

Take it from me: No, she does not. Whatever you do, do not resort to ridiculing others at their expense to make yourself look better–this is a major turnoff and red flag.

However, do be funny. Smile and have a great sense of humor to keep her giggling. Also, you can try playing shy. It tends to be cute and keeps women curious, but only for so long–so use this wisely to your advantage.

Aside from the energy you exude, she is also looking to see what scent you are radiating. You should definitely be wearing cologne at your first meeting to leave your masculine scent in her memory and, of course, wear deodorant. We don’t need any pungent odors intermingling with your D&G cologne.

Some cologne suggestions to keep her lingering are: Dolce and Gabbana “Light Blue Pour Homme” and Tom Ford “Noir de Noir”. Also, please have fresh breath. There is no way a woman will even slightly consider kissing you if your breath reeks of onions and garlic.

Now, what is your first move going to be? Be prudent, because this first move could make or break your chances. Are you going to go for the handshake, kiss on the cheek, double kiss, or the dreaded hug? If you want any chance at sleeping with her, you better show your suave side and attempt a kiss on the cheek or the double kiss.

Whichever you decide, perform with confidence. Also consider talking or whispering in her ear. This is one of the sexiest gestures a man can make and keeps a woman’s imagination running without being overly sexual. Remember, women love to fantasize, so make sure you give her something to fantasize about.
