TMG Pageant Network has Exclusive Coverage of the 2012 Miss America Pageant Including Interviews with Laura Kaeppeler

Miss Wisconsin, Laura Kaeppeler is crowned the new Miss America 2012 and TMG Pageant Network was there to bring exclusive coverage of the pageant and its contestants. Broadcast live from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, 52 beauties competed for the coveted crown in front on a live audience of 7,500 people. For the 2nd consecutive year, TMG Pageant Network highlighted the pageant events, behind the scenes coverage, and limited access interviews and is the only global network for pageantry sponsored by YouTube. This year, in-depth coverage of Miss America 2012 in Las Vegas has received over 25,000 direct views and 1.8 million impressions on YouTube in the first five days.

TMG Pageant Network’s special correspondent team was comprised of former pageant contestants and winners. Katie Stam, Miss America 2009, lead the reporting for the TMG Pageant Network for the 2nd year and said that the newly crowned Miss America, Laura Kaeppeler is “mesmerizing”.  Also joining her on the correspondent team was Cris Crotz, Miss Nevada 2010; Brooke Poklemba, Miss Maryland 2009; Julianna Erdesz, Miss Nevada 2008; and Rachael Todd, Miss Florida 2009.

TMG Pageant Network sat down for a one-on-one interview with Laura Kaeppeler before she was crowned Miss America 2012.  Laura, who won the preliminary talent singing “Il Baccio,” conducted an exclusive interview with TMG correspondent, Cris Crotz, about that win and also discussed her platform: Circles of Support, mentoring children whose parents are in prison.

Exclusive interviews seen only on TMG Pageant Network included interviews with host Chris Harrison, Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan, legendary celebrity reporter, Robin Leach, and Executive Producer, Tony Eaton. The cameras were brought backstage for the first behind the scenes look at what goes on during rehearsals over a 5 day period.After a week filled with interviews, rehearsals, and preliminary competitions co-host Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet crowned Miss Wisconsin, Laura Kaeppeler the new Miss America 2012, who is preparing for an incredible journey with her new title.

Katie Stam revealed that when Laura was crowned, “she was whisked away to a separate dressing area where the host committee has put all of her things so she could touch up her hair and makeup so that she would look great to come into her very first press conference, then she addresses the audience, then the VIP sponsor party then she will finally get to see her friends and family.”

Cris Crotz added that, “She has that ‘it’ factor, which is exactly what Miss America is supposed to have.”
