Miss Bala, starring Stephanie Sigman, Irene Azuela, Miguel Couturier, Gabriel Heads and Noe Hernandez, opens in theaters Friday, January 20. The drama tells the story of a young woman whose dream of becoming a beauty queen in Mexico are overshadowed when she is forced to become a participant in the country’s violent drug war.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 53 minutes and is rated R for some brutal violence, sexuality and language.
