New Jersey woman dies after being crushed by dump truck

A New Jersey woman was killed Thursday morning when her vehicle was crushed by a dump truck, according to the Cherry Hill Post Courier.

The accident happened on Haddonfield-Berlin Road. According to police, the dump truck carrying sand was driving westbound near Morris Road when a vehicle turned onto Haddonfield-Berlin. The dump truck driver had to swerve to avoid a collision with turning vehicle. The sand shifted and caused the truck to tip over onto an SUV.

It took emergency crews over an hour to extricate the unidentified female driver from her SUV. She died on the scene, according to the Post Courier.

Police are conducting an investigation and have spoken to the driver of the turning vehicle and the dump truck, but have not charged either driver.

Dump trucks with heavy loads are common on our roads and predicting an event like this is impossible.

An accident can happen at any moment and sometimes they are caused by the carelessness of another driver. A truck accident lawyer will begin building an effective case immediately after they are contacted by gathering evidence and speaking to witnesses

When this is the case, a truck accident attorney will fight to make certain injury victims and their families get some justice. When a person retains an accomplished truck accident attorney they get the most favorable settlement possible.
