Lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith reveals himself to be father of her newborn daughter.

The lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith, Howard K. Stern, told Larry King that he was the father of Smith’s baby daughter born September 7th.

Anna Nicole Smith, a former Playboy Playmate of the Year, gave birth to Dannie Lynn Hope in the Bahamas and within hours her son Daniel was found dead in her hospital room. Despite two separate autopsies, no definitive cause of death has been revealed.

Despite the joy of her new daughter, Smith is still having a hard time coming to grips with the loss of her son. According to Stern, Daniel had been going through a rough time after breaking up with his girlfriend but Stern does not believe his death was a result of suicide.

Stern’s announcement that he was the father of Anna Nicole Smith came as a surprise because Smith’s former boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, had been saying for months that he was the expecting father. Stern has said he would take a paternity test if necessary.
