The 10 Commandments of Elite

Moses presented to his people the original 10 commandments on Mount Sinai. Eventually, the early Christians ushered in the New Testament with their Messianic law. The Qur’an holds verses that laid down the law, differentiating between what is right and wrong for the Muslim religion. Finally, Biggie preached his own law through his infamous song, “10 Crack Commandments,” for the drug dealer culture. Now, at Elite, we have decided to take these serious matters into our own hands, and shall lay down our own law for the Elite way of life.

First and foremost, we must designate everyone who reads Elite Daily as a part of the “Elite.” When we created Elite Daily, we wanted to define “elite” in a way that differs from the everyday use; our definition defines every individual as “elite” in their own way. Everyone possesses many qualities that make them unique, and if you are reading this right now then YOU definitely fall into our category of elite.

We plan to have a have a deep connection with our readers that very few other publications seek to maintain with their audience. Thus we bring to you the 10 Elite Commandments:

10. Thou shall not take a cheater back

Countless times, we have seen “innocent” men fall prey to the cheating girl. You would think these men immediately choose to cut off all ties with this type of female. Think again. The reality is that men often take these women back and forgive them for cheating. We know it sounds completely absurd, but it does happen frequently.

9. Thou shall not turn your back on your entourage

We all aspire to reach the apex of success, or we have already reached that climax. Nonetheless, it is important to never turn your back on those who have been with you since the very beginning. We include all friends, especially the ones that you grew up with and have been at your side on the long road to success. You must not forget or even betray these friends, because they are the truest individuals you could ever stumble upon.

8. Thou shall be ambitious

Ambition is one of the biggest motivators that we still have in this day and age. One must strive to grow and rise to the top ranks of their respective fields, no matter how simple your role may be. One of the prominent goals in your life should include the ability to interact with people to inform them that you excel at what you do. Make sure people around you know that you are one of the hungriest people out there and your performance can vouch for it.

7. Thou shall be selfless

You shall always give back to your community. One must do charitable works, and help out those that are less fortunate than you. In the midst of success, one can easily get blinded and forget the importance of helping out others. A great man once said, “You stop loving life when you stop helping others.” So, don’t be selfish; instead, become a model of selflessness and give back to the world that has given to you.

6. Thou shall be adventurous

Unfortunately, life is short and we only get one try. Thus, you must depart from their comfort zone, and explore something you’re not accustomed to. Go sky diving, take a trip on a safari, go deep sea fishing, or even try helicopter skiing. Fortunately, the list of adventurous activities is endless. So, please do not let life pass you in the blink of an eye; grasp life and inject it with some excitement. In the end, new experiences will give you a great story to tell, because we were placed on this planet to be elite, not boring.

5. Thou shall always be presentable

Looking sharp is the essence of class and exemplifies our notion of elite. When a man is dressed sharply, his confidence sky-rockets and those around him recognize it. You should always positively present yourself to the best of your ability and demonstrate that essential suaveness. Society loves a well dressed, confident, and sharp man.

4. Thou shall always be thankful

You are blessed to be a part of the elite; so, you should always be thankful to the powers above that endow you with your successful position in life. It takes mere seconds out of your day to express simple thanks for all your blessings; trust us that it will benefit you to count your blessings. One elite member once confessed, “My life changed drastically after I started thanking God every day.”

3. Thou shall be knowledgeable

Experiences form the life we live. Therefore, it is important to experience everything in life, because each moment differs from one another. In addition, experiences always offer an opportunity to meet something or someone new and exciting. One must also be “book smart” as well as “street smart.” With this in mind, become knowledgeable and learn from your mistakes. Never allow questions, unwanted instances, problems or whatever else stump or put you down.

2. Thou shall lead and never follow

This world is made up of two types of people: leaders and followers. Since you are elite, we shall jump the gun and coin you a leader. Always lead life with passion and a goal in mind. Be the best leader you can possibly be by motivating your team and creating a strong relationship that will encourage others to follow your lead.

In this world, it is essential to be respectful as well as to give respect where it is due. No one likes an arrogant asshole; so, lose the ego and learn to be humble. This execution of respect will ensure that no one has anything negative to say about you and your doings. People will always talk about you, but it is up to you to give others bad material to say about you
