50/50: starring Seth Rogan, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard and Angelica Huston. The comedy/drama follows best friends Adam and Kyle as their world is turned upside down by Adam’s cancer diagnosis. Although Adam has only a 50/50 chance of survival, he is determined to remain upbeat about his cancer battle. Rated R

Real Steel: starring Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo, Evangeline Lilly, Anthony Mackie and Kevin Durand. The sci-fi action film centers on a father and his estranged son as they team up to build and train a robot to fight in a high-stakes boxing match. Rated PG 13

Happy Happy: starring Agnes Kittelsen, Henrik Rafaelsen, Joachim Rafaelsen, Maibtritt Saerens and Oskar Hernaes Brandso. The comedy-drama centers on a lonely housewife who begins an affair with her new married neighbor. Rated R

Woman: starring Carlee Baker, Shana Barry, Marcia Bennett, Angela Bettis and Sean Bridgers. The horror-thriller tells the story of a successful country lawyer who attempts to civilize a woman from a violent clan that lived along the Northeast coast. Rated: R

Restless: starring Mia Wasikowska, Schuyler Fisk, Jane Adams, Chin Han and Lusia Strus. The drama tells the story of an optimistic, life-loving, terminally ill girl who falls for a boy that hates life and attends funerals for entertainment. Rated PG 13

Beginning of the Great Revival: starring John Woo, Andy Lau, Wei Tang, Bingbing Fan and Daniel Wu. The historical drama is set in China at the time of the Qing Dynasty in the early 1900s. The Qing Dynasty’s fall at the hands of San Yat-sen and the establishment of the Chinese Communist Party is chronicled. The period is known as the Chinese Revolution. Not Rated

Essential Killing: starring Vincent Gallo, Emmanuelle Seigner, Stig Frode Henriksen, Nicolai Cleve Broch and David L. Price. The drama stars Vincent Gallo as a Taliban fighter named Mohammed. Mohammed is captured in Afghanistan by Americans and sent to a secret prison in Europe for interrogation. He manages to escape from his captors but is relentlessly pursued. Mohammed is determined to survive no matter the cost. Not Rated

The horror film follows a pair of young sisters as they befriend a supernatural being that lives in their home. Revenge of the Electric Car: starring Tim Robbins, Danny DeVito, Jon Favreau, Anthony Kiedis and Stephen Colbert. The documentary chronicles the race to make the cars of America’s future: electric cars. Not Rated
