With just one month to go before the 84th annual Academy Awards, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the nominations list Tuesday morning. Nine films were nominated for the top honor of Best Picture, including the critically acclaimed silent film The Artist and Martin Scorsese’s Hugo. The two films also earned the most nominations with Hugo boasting 11 total nods and The Artist trailing behind with 10. See a complete list of the nominations below. The Oscars will be hosted by Billy Crystal at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on February 26.
