California couple dies after causing accident while fleeing police

A couple is dead after causing an accident Monday afternoon while fleeing police.

According to police, a Monte Carlo ran a red light at an intersection after they took several evasive maneuvers to avoid police. The officer noticed the vehicle matched the description of a car leaving a burglary. The officer lost the car and was called away by dispatch.

The officer then came across an accident involving the same car from the earlier pursuit. The driver of the Monte Carlo, Wayne Dutra ran a red light and crashed into an SUV and plunged into a flood control canal. The SUV then ran onto a Ford truck.

The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries. The occupants of the Ford were not injured.

Police found the bodies of Dutra and Julie Frary in the backseat, both suspects in a burglary. Two other passengers in the Monte Carlo had minor injuries.

This just shows how deadly a traffic accident can be; for the people who manage to survive a tragic accident their injuries can be serious and possibly debilitating. An accident attorney will make sure a victim gets the compensation they deserve.

An accident lawyer has the skills necessary to win a favorable lawsuit for injury victims. These victims often need the settlement obtained by an accident attorney to cover their medical bills and living expenses.
