A new Bachelorette baby is on the way! Jen Schefft, who starred in the third seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, is pregnant with her second child with husband Joe Waterman. Schefft, 35, revealed her pregnancy to Us Weekly magazine.
"I'm very excited. The kids will be about two years apart, which is a great age difference,” says the former reality star, who is about 3 months into her pregnancy.
Schefft and Waterman are already parents to 14-month-old daughter Mae. Schefft tells Us Weekly she would love for Mae to have a little brother. “I would love a boy and a girl,” she tells the magazine.
In other Bachelorette news, ABC has confirmed single mom Emily Maynard will star on the upcoming season of the show. Maynard originally starred on the fifteenth season of The Bachelor and was engaged to Brad Womack in the season finale. The pair split several months after Womack’s season aired. Before appearing on The Bachelor, Maynard was engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick. Hendrick died in a plane crash in 2004 just days before Maynard discovered she was pregnant with their daughter.
