Bruce Jenner revealed that he found out about step-daughter Kim Kardashian’s divorce from the news in an interview with OK!Magazine.
Bruce told the publication that he was “the last to know.” Apparently, Kris Humphries found out about the divorce via the news as well.
Kim decided to end her nuptials to basketball player Kris Humphries on October 31st of last year after a short 72 days of marriage. Both parties have since retained divorce lawyers to hash out what will likely be a multi-million dollar settlement.
Though Bruce and Kim seem close on “Keeping up With the Kardashians,” she did not seek out the advice of her step father. Jenner admitted that he tried to steer clear of this topic with Kim. He told the magazine, “I’m smart enough to stay out of all those things.”
Jenner said he knew something was brewing because there were numerous phone calls and hushed conversations.
Kim recently appeared on morning talk shows this week stating that filing for
divorce was a bad business decision because she suffered serious backlash. Many people accused the reality TV star of marrying for profit. Though she denies this and said she married for love.
Regardless of why a person gets married they will still need the help of a
divorce lawyer when they decide to dissolve their marriage. A
divorce attorney will work hard to make sure their clients receive a fair and just settlement.
