During an interview on ESPN2 this week, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Pat
Sajak admitted to having “two or three or six” margaritas with co-host Vanna
White between a breaks while taping early shows. Pat Sajak began hosting the show in 1981 and
was followed by Vanna white a year later.
While taping the show, Sajak and White had two and a half hour dinner
breaks while new prizes were set up.
Together the two would walk across the street to Los Arcos, a Mexican
restaurant in Burbank. “Vanna and I
would go across and have two or three or six and then come and do the last
shows and have trouble recognizing the alphabet. They’re really great tapes to get a hold of,”
said Sajak.
Due to his age, Sajak does not include alcohol as part of his hosting
routine saying, “I would be hesitant to have anything to drink now.”
