Arizona Law Firm Now Accepting Defective Hip Replacement Cases
The DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System and the DePuy ASR XL Acetabular System was supposed to provide relief to patients with failing joints. Unfortunately, the DePuy Hip Replacement Systems had high failures rates after surgery. Pieces from the DePuy ASR Hip Replacement System are known to become loose after surgery, leading to adverse side effects in patients.
Some of the DePuy Hip Replacement System adverse side effects that patients experience include bone fractures, infections, metal sensitivity, popping and grinding, and pain. Another adverse side effect from the loose pieces is the deposits of metal fragments in the blood stream. Psuedotumors can develop from high metal ion levels in the bloodstream, which can be deadly for the patient.
