Comedian Tracy Morgan’s badmouthed by mother for not helping her avoid foreclosure

For most people family feuds are kept private but when you are famous these thing are played out in public. Such is the case of comedian and star of “30 Rock” Tracy Morgan who is being bad-mouthed by his mother and sister for refusing to help his mother an impending foreclosure.
Morgan’s mother, Alicia Morgan says she asked her son to help her when she received a foreclosure notice last month. In a phone interview with CNN, Alicia said she called Tracy and asked him for $25,000 to pay off her mortgage. Tracy’s assistant called her back and told her he would give her $2,000 in a one shot deal.
Alicia Morgan lost her job last year and her unemployment benefits have expired. She also suffers from diabetes and has trouble walking. It may be possible for a foreclosure attorney to help her keep her home but she would still need financial assistance.
Tracy’s sister Asia told the New York Daily News, “He’s never been a nice person and the money has just made him worse.”
Alicia owes $25,000 on her mortgage and Asia says that is a drop in the bucket for Tracy, who is worth close to $18 million.
Tracy said in an interview with ABC news that he hasn’t seen his mother in 11 years for personal reasons.
Foreclosure lawyers have the expertise to help people with their housing issues. The troubled homeowner can have their foreclosure attorney negotiate for a mortgage modification or ask a judge to hear their case.
