Passengers and crew were ordered to evacuate Delta Air Lines Flight 1908 by the pilot after he saw smoke in the planes cockpit and cabin.
The flight left LaGuardia Airport in New York earlier this morning with about 40 passengers en route to Boston. Upon a routine landing, the pilot began taxing the plane towards the gate when he saw the smoke.
The passengers and crew of five evacuated the plane via inflatable chutes. Two passengers complained of back, leg and hip problems but neither were hospitalized.
No report has been made as to what caused the smoke.
