Pennsylvania woman fatally struck by car

Northville Township – A 60 woman was fatally injured Thursday night after a motorist struck her when she was crossing an unlit section of the road.

The unidentified woman was leaving her job with some co-workers, who successfully crossed Seven Mile Road. The woman stayed behind because of an on-coming vehicle. When she believed it was safe she began crossing and was struck by a car traveling westbound.

The woman landed on the windshield of the car and was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital. She later died of her injuries.

The driver of the oncoming vehicle was a 23 year old woman and was not injured. Police are not charging her, stating it was an unfortunate accident.

The intersection was closed for three hours after the accident.

Accidents are largely unintentional, but sometimes they can end in tragedy and are often caused by carelessness on the driver’s part. Inattention and distraction are the leading causes or accidental injuries and deaths. An injury victim can hire and accident attorney to get the money they need to pay for medical bills or funeral costs for the deceased. Any person who wants compensation for their pain and suffering are encouraged to hire an accident attorney immediately.

Money attained by an accident attorney cannot replace health or a lost loved one, but it can give them some comfort knowing the negligent party has been held responsible for the harm they have caused.
