Internet marketing targeted at Baby Boomers can boost revenue

Digital marketing agency Response Mind Interactive has recently released a report about the online activities of the Baby Boomer generation and how legal internet marketing companies can target this demographic.

According to the report, Baby Boomers account for a quarter of the nation’s disposable income, which is estimated at $3 trillion. Aiming online marketing at this group is becoming increasingly important to a business.

Seniors represents the highest growth of online users, they spend an average of 35.6 hour online in a month. And participate in a variety of online activities which include shopping, search for services such as healthcare, checking email and booking travel. Younger generations are no longer the only dominate force on the internet. Seniors are also using social media at a more frequent rate than the past few years.

By 2020, one out of six Americans will be over the age of 65, according to statistics by the Census Bureau.
