Beyonce stepped out for husband Jay-Z’s concert at Carnegie Hall Monday night, marking the her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter on January 7. The new mom displayed her slim post-baby body in a form fitting Alice Temperly dress, Christian Louboutin heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Jay-Z performed with Alicia Keys and Nas, but the most special moment of the show was when the rapper sang “Glory,” which he wrote about Blue Ivy. The track features Blue’s cry. Before heading to an afterparty at the 40/40 nightclub, Beyonce told New York Daily News the concert “was amazing.”
Blue is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot in 2008. Beyonce and Jay-Z described her birth as “emotional and extremely peaceful.” "It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support,” they said in a statement.
