Saku Koive leaves the Canadiens for the Ducks

Saku Koive left the Montreal Canadiens for the Anaheim Ducks.   This one year deal was signed on Wednesday July 9, 2009. Koive has spent 13 seasons with the Canadiens.  He was a huge part of the team serving as captain for almost ten years.  During his time with the Montreal Canadiens he had 191 goals, 450 assists and 623 penalty minutes.  This is a bitter but sweet moment because Koive has only played with the Montreal Canadiens during his NHL Career.
