Actress Parminder Nagra is seeking to end her 3 year marriage to photographer James Stenson. Nagra and Stenson dated for seven years before tying the knot in 2009. They have a 2-year-old son together named Kai David.
In documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on February 1, Nagra cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for separation and requests sole physical custody of Kai. She asks for Stenson to share joint legal custody of Kai and be granted visitation rights. Nagra also requests Stenson be denied spousal support.
Nagra’s big break came in 2002 when she starred opposite Keira Knightley and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Bend It Like Beckham. She starred on the medical drama ER for six years and currently stars on the new Fox series Alcatraz.
