Most online searchers don’t go beyond the third page

A new study shows that most people employing search to find information or service providers don’t look beyond the first three pages of search. For law firms that wish to increase business the study emphasizes the importance of hiring a company that specializes in legal internet marketing.

The poll conducted by AY TM Market Research found that 74 percent of the people surveyed said they usually abandon a search if they cannot find what they are looking for in the first three pages, as reported by Brafton News.

This demonstrates how important search engine optimization can be in a legal internet marketing campaign. Many companies including Digital Age Marketing provide comprehensive SEO and marketing on a number of search engines and social media websites.

Fifty-five percent of those surveyed said they utilized search engines numerous times a day. Thirty percent said they only used search once a day. Only one person out of 400 said they never used a search engine.

Google gets 16 percent of the traffic from the top 30 websites in January, according to Brafton. Yahoo got 11 percent of that traffic while Bing secured 6 percent.

Any law firm that would like to have a visible presence on the web should employ a legal internet marketing firm to help them with their online marketing efforts. Appearing on the first pages of search is possible when a firm has an expert working for them.
