Six-time Grammy winning singer Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48, her publicist Kristen Foster announced Saturday. No other details, including the location and cause of death, have been released. Houston is survived by her 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Houston, who previously struggled with drug addiction, was last seen Thursday partying with her daughter at Tru Hollywood’s “Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B Grammy Party.”
Over her 35 year career, Houston sold more than 170 million albums and singles worldwide. She won 415 awards, making her the most awarded female artist ever, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
