This response by Carithers Flowers comes as a result of a recent Chanel 2 broadcast in Atlanta and a WSBTV.com story where it was discovered that flower websites, claiming to be local to the Atlanta area, were, in fact, not even in the state of Georgia. The investigation found that these websites, stating they were in Georgia, actually shared toll-free numbers with Internet florist websites found in many other states. Floral customers that trusted these sites ended up with late deliveries and wrong orders, making for a bad floral arrangement order experience and creating many mistrusting consumers.
