The body of Whitney Houston was flown to New Jersey late Monday night on a private plane reportedly owned by actor and producer Tyler Perry. The plane landed at Teterboro Airport shortly before midnight and a gold hearse transported Houston’s body to Whigham Funeral Home in Newark. The Houston family is still finalizing funeral arrangements, but multiple reports say the funeral is set for Friday.
According to reports, Houston’s 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and ex-husband, Bobby Brown, have also arrived in Newark with several other close friends and family members.
Houston was found dead Saturday afternoon in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Authorities reportedly believe she died from a combination of alcohol and prescription drugs. The L.A. County Coroner’s Office will determine an official cause of death after reviewing autopsy and toxicology test results. Houston was 48.
