Hugh Hefner briefly commented Monday on his son’s weekend arrest for domestic violence. Speaking to People magazine, Hefner said he believes son Marston, 22, and Playboy model Claire Sinclair, 20, can work through their differences if they love each other.
"If they care about each other, they'll patch it up," he told People.
Marston Hefner was arrested at the Pasadena, California home he shares with Sinclair Sunday night after allegedly punching and kicking her during an argument. Sources say Sinclair had visible injuries, including bruises and red marks.
Hefner was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence at a local jail and released after posting $20,000 bail. He has not commented. Hefner and Sinclair have been dating for nearly two years.
