Accident At World Trade Center Construction Site Leaves One Worker Injured

New York- An accident at the World Trade Center construction site left one man with injuries and a work truck crushed. The accident happened just before 10am when a cable from a crane truck lifting a 35 ft. metal beam snapped dropping the beam onto the top of an unoccupied flatbed truck. One man on the work-site incurred minor injuries after he slipped and fell while running towards the scene of the accident. 


He refused medical treatment on the scene. The site of the accident was located at Tower 4, which will eventually house the 9/11 memorial and museum. Authorities shut down that area while they try to determine what happened. Workplace accidents can often lead to serious injury or death.
