Woman Sues Deceased Fashion Designer Bijan for Sexual Harassment

Los Angeles, CA- A former employee for deceased designer Buan Pakzad, who started the fashion boutique Bijan, is suing him for sexual harassment.

Bijan is touted as one of the most expensive men’s boutiques in Beverly Hills, outfitting such famous names as President Obama, Tom Cruise, George W. Bush and Jay Leno.

Brittany Anderson filed her lawsuit Thursday in a Los Angeles court alleging that the designer sexually harassed her before he died last year and retaliated against her after she complained about the behavior.  Harassment and retaliation often go hand in hand and people feel the need to employ a sexual harassment attorney to protect them from these behaviors.

According to Anderson’s lawsuit, before Pakzad died would make sexual comments about her “voluptuous body” and would try to kiss her on her lips. Anderson also alleges that Pakzad wanted to have a sexual relationship with her.

Anderson, who worked for Bijan from April of 2009 to May of 2010, had hoped that once she told Pakzad she was moving in with her boyfriend the harassment would stop. Instead, she alleges that she was demoted and was given less responsibility. She was later fired for complaining about her treatment.

Anderson is seeking damages from the designer’s estate. A skilled sexual harassment lawyer can obtain just settlement for people subjected to harassing behavior in the workplace.

Most people just want the harassment to end and when reporting the misconduct fails to do this the victims must hire a sexual harassment attorney
