Narconon Offers Effective Drug Rehabilitation for Methamphetamine Addicts

Ten million people in the United States have tried methamphetamine at least once

According to a national survey, approximately ten million people in the United States have tried methamphetamine at least once.

Initially limited to Hawaii and western parts of the country,
methamphetamine abuse continues to spread eastward like a wild fire, leaving devastation in its path in both urban and rural parts of the country.   It affects individuals and in some cases, entire towns.

Adverse health effects include memory loss, aggression, psychotic behavior, heart damage, malnutrition, and severe dental problems. Like amphetamine, methamphetamine causes increased activity and talkativeness, decreased appetite, and a general sense of well-being.

There have been reports of some urban areas having a decreased work force, due to the inability of some of its citizens to pass a drug test.  There was a particular factory (now clean) that at one time did not have any clean employees.   They were all using methamphetamine until the director got treatment.

The good news is that methamphetamine abuse can be prevented and methamphetamine addiction can be treated. People do recover, but only when effective treatments that address the multitude of problems resulting from methamphetamine abuse are readily available.

Methamphetamine users benefit greatly from long term treatment.  Removing the addict from his immediate environment and allowing him to develop new skills is crucial to his or her recovery from the drug.

The Narconon drug rehab program has proven highly effective in treating methamphetamine addiction.  The New Life Sauna Detoxification program is a proven method by which cravings are reduced through sauna, nutrition and exercise.

The social skills learned in the program and the program’s length, typically 3 to 6 months, make it a perfect choice for the treatment of methamphetamine addiction.

In one case, the work force of an entire factory was gotten off methamphetamine through the help of 5 employees who went through the Narconon program.  They got home and decided to clean things up and now have a “drug free” factory.
