Ben Flajnik and his final four Bachelorettes returned to the United States for hometown dates on this week’s episode of The Bachelor. The three women to receive roses will travel to Switzerland with Ben for overnight dates.
Ben’s first stop is in Ocala, Florida to meet Lindzi’s parents. Bringing Ben home is a big deal for Lindzi because he is only the second guy she has introduced to her parents. Lindzi takes Ben on a picnic and opens up about her previous 2 year relationship in which she and her ex lived together. She admits to being heartbroken by the end of the relationship, but tells Ben she is ready to open up again. Ben is pleased with her openness. His time with her parents turns out to be a success and Lindzi’s dad approves of their relationship.
For his second hometown date, Ben heads to Clarksville, Tennessee where he meets Kacie B. She greets Ben with a marching band and warnings about her father. Kacie reveals her father is a patrol officer who doesn’t drink and is very skeptical of reality TV dating. Their time with her parents is very awkward and seems to put a strain on their relationship. Kacie’s mom has reservations about them living together before marriage while Kacie’s dad voices his concerns about them rushing into a serious commitment. Both Kacie and Ben ended the date feeling uneasy.
Nicki’s date in Fort Worth, Texas was next. Nicki buys Ben a western ensemble which he puts on before meeting her parents. Nicki’s parents are initially hesitant to give their blessing, but after talking with Ben they voice their support. Towards the end of the day, Nicki tells Ben that she is in love with him.
Ben’s final stop was in Scottsdale, Arizona where he meets Courtney’s family. He charms them over lunch and Courtney’s dad gives his blessing. Courtney’s mom is still skeptical and warns Courtney about making sure Ben is The One. Courtney pulls Ben away for some alone time and surprises him with a mock wedding. They write their own vows and recite them in front of a preacher. Ben feels the date was a success.
At the rose ceremony, Ben sends Kacie packing.
