Chris Brown and Rihanna Reunite For Music

It looks like music has reunited Chris Brown and Rihanna. Three years after Brown’s arrest for beating Rihanna and their subsequent split, the pair have released remixes featuring each other. Brown can be heard on a new remixed version of Rihanna’s single “Birthday Cake” from her Talk That Talk album while Rihanna is featured on a new version of Brown’s “Turn Up the Music.”

Rihanna and Brown have also been getting friendly over Twitter. Brown, who is dating aspiring model Karrueche Tran, wished his ex a happy birthday on Twitter Monday. Rihanna thanked him and later Tweeted a video for his “Turn Up the Music” remix.

After his February 8, 2009 arrest, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to 5 years of probation, 6 months of community service and 1 year of domestic violence counseling.

Brown’s arrest continues to negatively affect his public image. After he performed twice and won an award at this year’s Grammy Awards, several celebrities hit Twitter to fume about the music industry apparently forgetting his arrest.

"Twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl ... Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys," Miranda Lambert tweeted.

"People don't forget! #chrisbrownbeatswomen," Jack Osbourne wrote.

"Trying not to go off on a rant but...Chris Brown...*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys," Michelle Branch Tweeted.
