The Iconic Laser Light Show Opens with Classic and Contemporary Programming in

The all-new Laserium® CyberTheater™ held it’s Grand Opening at the refurbished Vine Theater, located at Hollywood’s most famous intersection, Hollywood and Vine. After playing to 20 million fans in 46 cities, including 28 years at the Griffith Park Observatory, Laserium, the internationally recognized brand that is synonymous with laser shows and displays, is back with a brand new experience for young and old alike.

The Laserium® CyberTheater™ offers a variety of experiences, including updated versions of three of the most popular Classic Laserium shows, featuring music from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. The new venue presents brand new shows with exciting and interactive technology, and live entertainment featuring the hottest new bands, iconic performers and theme nights. The redesigned 424 seat theater features two LightDancer™ musical instruments, an extended stage for live performances, multiple screens and surround sound with immersive lasers and computer graphics to create an experience that visitors will want to come back to again and again. The CyberTheater will feature 15 shows per week from Wednesday through Sunday,

The LightDancer™ interactive light instrument makes its world premiere at the new venue. These unique patented, musical devices (the only two in the world) allow audience members to literally “step into the light” and create their own accompaniments to yesterday’s and today’s top hit songs by moving through and breaking beams of light.  Audience members participate in the show and create music which is always in tune and in time with the score being played.  The LightDancers also trigger video, laser and lighting effects, effortlessly allowing the audience members to become laserists, DJ’s and VJ’s (video jockeys) while “playing-the-light.”  This is a one of a kind interactive experience that promises to become a favorite of kids and adults alike.

Mick Fleetwood, cofounder of the band Fleetwood Mac, has been named spokesperson for the new Laserium.  The Laserium creator is Ivan Dryer, the Laserium CEO is Stephen Wyle and Marla Maples is the spokesperson for Laserium's charity venture - Giving in the Light.   Says Jonathan Todd, the Laserium vice president of marketing & sales, “The new Laserium is bigger bolder, brighter and louder, and offers  brand new shows and updated versions of classic shows.”  Contact him at:  info@laserium.com
