Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow’s shared Christian faith has made them fast friends. Adrian Tam, Lin’s former chaplain at Harvard University, tells People magazine the New York Knicks point guard thinks Tebow is a “great guy.”
"They've spoken over the telephone. Jeremy's been a fan of Tebow's for a while, but only recently were they able to connect," Tam tells People. "His comment to me was that Tim is a really great guy and that he's very inspired by him.”
Tebow, 24, recently told ESPN he is proud of Lin, 23, for being “a great role model.” "I've had the pleasure of getting to know him over the last few weeks and what a great guy he is,” the Denver Broncos quarterback said. "How he handles himself and how he carries himself, I think he's a great role model. And I'm proud of it.”
