Appearing on Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers Wednesday, Kate Gosselin gave an update on life after the end of her TLC reality show, Kate Plus 8. The 36-year-old said life as a single mom of 8 is lonely, but admitted she doesn’t feel ready to date again.
“I am lonely. I clean up the house, put kids to bed, and there I sit. Ideally I would find that person – I don't know if I feel ready for that,” she explained.
When Gosselin does being dating one thing she will look for is someone able to deal with her children. “I think a lot of my friends, who are being constructive, say, 'Gosh, who are you going to meet that is going to be able to deal with eight kids?' My answer is always if they can deal with eight kids in our situation, it probably will be the person,” she told Drew.
As for her relationship with ex-husband Jon Gosselin, Kate admitted living separate lives has been “more peaceful” for them both. "Possibly he's working now and so he feels like he's living a regular life again and maybe a little happier with himself, so that boils down to peace between us,” she explained.
