Two men are dead after a wreck early Sunday that flung their truck into a tree and then a house, causing it to burst into flames.
Ohio police say that a Ford 150 traveling at a high rate of speed lost control on Perkins Ave, at 3:30 a.m. the truck went off the right side of the road and slammed into a tree, ejecting the driver and the passenger, the two men were not wearing their safety belts.
The truck them crashed into a home with five residents, then burst into flames. None of the people in the house were injured. Had it not been for the tree, the truck would have crashed into another home.
The truck was going so fast that the impact with the tree caused the driveshaft to pierce the bed of the truck and the tires were shaved off to the balls joints.
The deceased passenger has been identified as 30 year-old Bradley Vickery of Bellevue. The driver was so badly burned that police have been unable to identify him.
