ABC has released the cast list for its 14th season of Dancing with the Stars. The show is slated to kick off the season on Monday, March 19 at 8 pm ET. The season will open with a two hour season premiere. The show will follow up with “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” on Tuesday, March 27 at 9 pm ET.
This year’s lineup includes a host of interesting picks for this year’s season. The cast is as follows:
Donald Driver “The Green Bay Packer” Driver is a Super Bowl Champion and continues to hold the all-time receiving record for yards and receptions with the Green Bay Packers.
Gavin DeGraw “The Platinum Pop Star” DeGraw broke through with the release of his debut album Chariot in 2003. He’s since then received platinum certification with three hit singles including “I Don’t Want to Be,” “Follow Through,” and “Chariot.”
Gladys Knight “The Empress of Soul” Eight time Grammy Award winner, Glady’s has reached the #1 spot for R&B and Adult Contemporary genres. Knight recently returned to the Strip in Las Vegas for the opening of the Gladys Knight Theater at the Tropicana. She is the first African American to have a venue named after her in Vegas.
Jack Wagner “Soap’s Steamiest” Known for his role as Frisco Jones on ABC’s General Hospital, Wagner has been involved in numerous tv movies and more than 40 theatrical productions worldwide.
Jaleel White “The Sitcom Star” Known for his catchphrase, “Did I do that?,” Jaleel White reached stardom with his role as Steve Urkel in the hit sitcom, Family Matters. He is now preparing to host the new SyFy gameshow Total Blackout in addition to filming Parkin’ Lot Pimpin, a film White co-wrote.
Katherine Jenkins “The Sexy Soprano” Welsh Mezzo Soprano Katherine Jenkins has sold millions of albums since she launched her career in 2004. She has performed with the likes of Placido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli. She hass performed for the Queen, in addition to members of the Royal Family, Prime Ministers and other dignitaries worldwide.
Maria Menounos “Hollywood’s Hottest Host” Actress, author and host of TV’s Extra, Maria Menounos was the youngest person to host Entertainment tonight at the young age of 22. She later went on to report for Today, Dateline, and Nightly News.
Martina Navratilova “The Tennis Legend” Tennis Champion Martina Navratilova has been dominating the tennis courts for over four decades. She currently holds 59 Grand Slam titles, 9 Wimbledon singles championships, and 344 tournament victories.
Melissa Gilbert “The Little House Legend” Granddaughter of Harry Crane, the writer of The Honeymooners, and daughter of comedian, actor, musician, and dancer Paul Gilbert, Melissa Gilbert is best known for her role in the popular tv show, Little House on the Prarie.
Roshon Fegan “Disney’s Triple Threat” Artist, songwriter, producer, and actor, Roshon Fegan stars on Disney Channel’s series Shake It Up!
Sherri Shepherd “The View’s Sassiest” Host of ABC’s daytime talk show The View, Sherri Sheppherd is a Daytime Emmy Award Winner. She has also appeared in popular tv shows such as 30 Rock, Less than Perfect, and Everybody Loves Raymond. She has even been featured in feature films like Precious, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and One for the Money.
William Levy “The Latin Hottie” Levy began his acting career with Telemundo, where he appeared in reality shows as well as a supporting role in Los Teens. He earned his break in 2007 when he was selected by Televisa producer Carla Estradaa for the role as Vasco Darien in Pasion.
