West Palm Beach- Multiple lanes of the Florida turnpike had to be closed Wednesday morning after a semi-truck rear-ended a passenger vehicle.
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. Emergency crews were dispatched to mile marker 104 on the turnpike, near a West Palm Beach residential area to respond to the collision.
A semi-truck rear-ended a passenger vehicle, causing a fuel spill. All northbound lanes from Bee Line Highway to Okeechobee Boulevard were blocked. Traffic backed up for five miles while crews worked to clear up a fuel spill.
