Last night’s episode of Survivor began with the ladies returning to camp after another trip to tribal council. A bad storm is brewing, but the ladies refuse an offer from the men to spend the night in their tarp-covered shelter. Instead, the ladies are determined to tough out the storm in their leaky shelter, but after a night spent shivering in the cold rain the ladies are singing a different tune in the morning. They wander over to the men’s camp to warm themselves at the fire. Most of the men aren’t happy about it.
The reward challenge was a memory game that required the tribes to look at a series of items and recreate the series on their own table. They earned one point for each correct series. The girls quickly took a three point lead. Christina scored the winning point and the women earned a canoe, paddles and fishing gear.
Back at camp the women face another rainy day with a flimsy shelter and no fire, so they head over the men for help. The guys hand over an ember and ask for use of the girls’ canoe in exchange, but the girls won’t agree to the deal. They return to their camp without granting the guys’ request.
The next day, the women take their canoe out and try their hand at fishing. Their confidence is boosted when they are able to bag three fish. They go into the immunity challenge with a more positive attitude thanks to the fish and their reward win.
For the immunity challenge, six members of each tribe are blindfolded and tied together in pairs. A caller must guide them through an obstacle course to five water towers containing bags of puzzle pieces. Once all five bags of puzzles pieces are retrieved, the caller can start working on the puzzle. The first tribe to complete the puzzle wins immunity.
Sabrina acts as the caller for the women while Bill takes the job for the men. The men easily take the lead and Bill has a good head start on the puzzle. The women are able to catch up when Sabrina makes quick work of the puzzle. She completes the puzzle first and wins immunity for her tribe.
The guys head back to camp with their second loss in a row. Colton quickly assembles his troops and convinces them to send Bill packing simply because he is annoying. Matt then puts himself on the misfit alliance’s radar after he pulls Troyzan aside with some strange analogy about chickens and roosters that is apparently suppose to convince Troyzan to join Matt’s crumbling alliance.
At tribal council, it is clear that Matt or Bill is on the chopping block. Matt is sent packing.
