World’s Largest Gathering of Customer Feedback Used to Make Best Face Wash

Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ are social media outlets designed to bring people closer together. Companies in the hopes of developing a personal connection with customers and product supporters are consistently hosting giveaways in an effort to get a company’s name and image out there to the public. Scrubs and Bubbles, a regional skincare company based out of New York, is taking the social media craze a step further and using it to help develop ‘The World’s Best Face Wash’.

“We are constantly receiving emails, phone calls and customer comment cards with suggestions on products that should be brought back or things we should do to our products to make them better”, said Jonnie Swanson owner and founder of Scrubs and Bubbles. “After a collecting thousands of suggests and comments, I thought no one knows our product better than our customers so why not recruit them to help us make ‘The World’s Best Face Wash’.”

Scrubs and Bubbles is planning on holding a worldwide interactive survey to help develop a face wash that can only be described as the world’s best. The survey will feature 10 questions that pertain to qualities and features commonly found in face washes. New and old customers will be able to answer the survey question across several social media outlets and the feature and quality that wins will be used in the new product.

“Fans and customers will be answering questions about favorite scents, amount of lather they enjoy, whether they like lots of bubbles, and what color the facial cleanser should be”, Swanson said. “Each question is a vital component of a face wash, and the fans will hold all the cards.”

Companies and businesses will typically use Facebook and Twitter to interact with fans by asking for feedback or just having them answer silly questions. This worldwide interactive survey is the first of its kind where a company will only use what is suggested by the fans, and not use it as a mere suggestion.

Scrubs and Bubbles is planning to release one survey a week for 10 weeks start starting in early April. Their Facebook and Twitter accounts have seen a 20% increase in amount of people following since the announcement regarding the creative effort to create the “World’s Best Face Wash” out of fan feedback.

“Some companies will commonly ask customers what they want to see in products, but rarely do they listen to what the lowly customer has to say. After all, it’s all about the money”, said first time Scrubs and Bubbles customer, Tina Farland. “The idea of a company that actually cares about what the customers want to see, and will use that to create a product is what attracted me to the company in the first place. It also helps that their products are amazing.”
