Whitney Houston Leaves Entire Estate To Daughter

Whitney Houston left her entire estate to her only child, daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. In her last will and testament drafted in 1993, Houston states that Bobbi Kristina should receive all of her money and personal effects, including clothing, jewelry, cars and properties. Houston left nothing to her ex-husband Bobby Brown.

All money will be placed in a trust, which will release a portion of the funds to Bobbi Kristina when she turns 21 and another portion when she turns 25. She can access the balance after her 30th birthday. An amendment to the will in 2004 names Houston’s sister in law Patricia as the executor of the estate. The will was filed in Atlanta on March 7.

Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has not determined the official cause of death, but it is widely believed Houston died from a combination of prescription drugs and alcohol. She was 48.
