Martha Stewart became a grandmother for the second time this week. People magazine has confirmed Stewart’s daughter, Alexis Stewart, welcomed a son named Truman on Tuesday. Like his older sister Jude, Truman was born via a surrogate.
Alexis, 46, has not commented on her son’s birth. No other details have been released.
After Jude’s birth last March, Alexis said Martha would not be referred to as grandma. “Martha is going to be called, ‘Martha.’ She seemed to have no problem with it. ... I was like, 'Do you really want to be 'grandma'? I don't like the term grandma!” she said.
